The Spaniards were unable to defeat Apaches as a result of decentralization; in comparison with other civilizations native. However, the Apaches does not have a particular leader that could be embattled with; and this have implications on the current or future organization competition that had no pyramid structure, just in the case of Apaches that has no hierarchy for a particular leader to implement rules and regulation and to make decision to follow and so this made them to fought back and resisted whenever Spaniards attempted to conquered them which they failed.
The centralized organizations does has a leader that set rules and make decisions on behalf of its people or group for example the White House; while decentralized organizations has no particular leader to make rules or decisions for people or groups he/she represented and its power is limited depending on the circumstances.

The primary difference between Napster and Kazza is that, Napster connect its users with centralized server, while, Kazza enable users linked directly with each other having access to each other computers due to the fact that they are decentralized.
Yes, this reading does relevant to the current competition between Uber, Lyft and existing taxi companies. Uber and Lyft are decentralized due to its drivers been independent contractors operating their own cars while customers/passengers are connected to them through Uber and Lyft app. The taxi is opposite because the drivers are driving taxi companies vehicles or cars and are been controlled by the decision, rules and regulations set which the drivers must follow this made the taxi companies to be centralized; and both are related to the reading.
